A small group of members took the opportunity to attend the Friday Foray – Road safety for Older Road Users. The session was very informative with plenty of opportunities for questions. Our thanks to the SA Police safety Centre for a very enjoyable and interesting Friday Foray.

With the scary drivers that are out there on the roads these days I am sure we can all do with some hints and tips on how to be safer and more aware of ways to survive should we be confronted with a situation that we may find ourselves in.

The Ramblers Christmas party was held at the Lyndoch Hotel on Monday December 13th. Prior to the party some members visited the Lyndoch Lavender Farm for coffee and a look at the farm. Despite the inclement weather it was a very enjoyable day. Click on the header to view some photographs from the day.
Enrolment for 2022 will be held on Wednesday January 12th 2022 from 10am to 1pm at the Gawler Sport and Community Centre, Nixon Terrace Gawler. Members (renewals and new members) are encouraged to pay online after 2nd January or come into the Centre on 12th and pay by cash or cheque. Invoices for membership renewals will be emailed to members late in December.
A reminder to all members that the talk by David Kilner on Agatha Christie & her life is on Friday November 5th at 1:30. David will also discuss his books and the challenges of writing. For all the Agatha Christie fans this will be an event not to be missed.
